International Communications officer: Moldova, Republic of

God is doing awesome things in our midst here in Moldova and we need someone to tell the story! We are seeking a person with a gift for writing and an enthusiasm for sharing the story of God's work in the world. Responsibilities will include:
1. Producing quarterly Moldova Newsletter for international distribution
2. Updating and maintaining website and posting new stories regularly
3. Collecting stories, photos, writing, editing, layout, printing and posting
4. Communication with the OM world, sharing stories, prayer requests
5. Writing and sending team prayer requests to our prayer supporters regularly
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Commitment Length: 1-2 years (full time)
This is a full-time position. Some experience in journalism or communications would be helpful but not necessary. The first 3 months will focus on language learning and cultural adaptation.

Please note: all jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

  • Recruiting - MD
    Represent OM Moldova at various international missions conventions. Communicate with those interested in joining OM Moldova. Help integrate new recruits into team life on the field.
  • Training co-ordinator - MD
    OM Moldova runs a training program twice a year for Moldovan nationals and foreigners to equip them for missionary work at home and abroad.

    We are looking for a person to coordinate this program.

    Full-time position.
  • Administration coordinator
    Oversee 2 office buildings & mission centre with regard of hosting groups conferences, ensuring maintenance, overseeing the head of hospitality
  • Development Coordinator
    We are looking for somebody with some business experience and a heart for rural development. Besides helping and administering the current projects, also researching, investigating and pioneering new projects in new areas is a part of the job.
  • Head of Hospitality
    OM Moldova has a new Mission Center where we host different conferences, Training programs etc.
    We need a person who is in charge for hospitality who will ensure guests will have accomodation, food etc.

    It is often a big operation housing 50-60 people. 30 our of 52 weeks we are running programs and different conferences. There are also team events and training times
