    OM UK is the national office for British people serving with OM. We're looking for two people to join a team of 5 in the personnel department in the UK office in Shropshire. Key areas of responsibility will include:
    a) dealing with enquiries from applicants (we receive 120 enquiries a month). This will be the major part of the role.
    b) helping in the selection, placement and preparation of applicants who are joining OM, including interviewing, communication with OM staff on-field, attending OM orientation conferences, etc.
    c) helping to care and support OM staff on the field through email and telephone communication with them and their sending churches, visits to OMers on the field.

    This role will involve a certain amount of administration, including maintaining information and administration of our application procedures. It will also include a lot of interaction with potential applicants.

  • Youth Coordinator – Generation Hope Team

    Generation Hope is a brand new initiative for OM UK, born out of the hugely successful and expanding OM event in Germany called TeenStreet.
    The Generation Hope Team will work with youth groups to help young people reach their potential on Christ. One of the ways they will do this is to run long weekends away with youth groups across the country, providing activities and sessions to bring the young people into a closer walk with God. Constantly drawing on OM’s international, cross-cultural experience and resources, this team will have a unique opportunity to develop the potential in young Christians and their walk with God.
    As part of this role the coordinator may also be involved in taking groups of teenagers to TeenStreet in Germany (or TeenStreets in Malaysia, Uruguay, Brazil or India) although this will not be the main focus of the role.

Once a year, we also organise "Teens in Missions"(TiM) in the UK. In the planning stages, there are resources and training sessions to prepare for the teenagers. During the mission, there will be orientation and training sessions to be delivered, followed by an outreach programme. All year there are many other opportunities to develop further youth initiatives through our contacts in local secondary schools and community projects.
