    Part of your job would be providing information via phone or email to the requests that come in and continue providing guidance to find the right place within OM for each person considering their background,desires,abilities,expectations,etc. Also overseeing the whole application-screening process until they leave the country to join the new field, as well as staying in contact with them and their families once they have reached the field.

  • Administrative Assistant - Church Relations

    We want to see churches in Canada developing their gifts, sending their people out into their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and ends of the earth ultimately bringing people to become worshippers of the living God.

Sweden

  • Personnel Officer

    The job of Personnel Officer within OM Swedens personnel department involves the following:
    * handling applications
    * contact people interrested in missions
    * giving moral support to people on the verge of going out
    * keeping in contact with people on the field
    * welcoming Swedes back to Sweden who are leaving their fields abroad

    The Personnel Officer will be based 75% in the office, working with the tasks above. The remaining 25% we would like to see the person helping out with one2one recruiting in the aftermath of a meetings in churches or Bible schools.

    OM Sweden is situated in an immigrant populated suburb and there are plenty of opportunities to minister to the community together with the local church.

    OM Sweden is mainly focused towards motivating, training and mobilising people for missions.
    For this to be done efficiently we need enough people who have a passion for people and administrative gifts.

    The job of being recruiter/inspirator with OM Sweden is absolutely key to the expansion of missions mobilisation of Swedes to world mission.

    Sweden has a long history of sending out missionaries to other countries - mostly to africa. Unfortunately this is no longer true. Sweden is a highly secularised country and most churches in Sweden are declining. It is not an overstatement to say that Sweden needs to be re-evangelised and re-mobilised for world mission.

    The role of Recruiter/Inspirator is based 75% of the time outside of the office, taking meetings in churches and Bible schools. The remaining 25% is spent in the office, helping to follow up the results and keeping in touch with churches.

  • Regional Co-ordinator (Representative)

    The regional co-ordinator's role is to lead OM's representation to local churches and individuals in his/her region of the UK. We currently have regional co-ordinators representing us in only three regions – there is scope for another half a dozen! The role involves taking meetings on behalf of OM, meeting church leaders, helping OMers strengthen relationships with their sending churches and supporters, organizing meetings for visiting speakers and presentation teams, etc.
