Hunger for realityOM InternationalOM Germany Leader Tobias Schultz recently stated that Germany is no longer a secular country. “People have a deep interest in spiritual things. Major newspapers and magazines are carrying articles like, ‘What Should I Believe?’ and ‘What Is Left Behind When I Die?’ There is a deep hunger for reality. We need a way of ministering to people that is incarnational. And we need help from the Two-Thirds World!”The leader explained that the current spiritual hunger has prompted two new initiatives by OM Germany this summer and autumn. An international Global Action team is planned for a deeply troubled neighbourhood in Hamburg that is populated by migrants and many broken families. The team will be working with a local church that is already ministering in the area. The second team will focus on the city of Halle in the east, again partnering with a local church to start a long-term ministry among youth. This is expected to include a coffee shop and community house for teaching vocational skills. Please pray that God will lead the right team members and leaders to join these projects!
