A Man's World

Following a successful women’s event in February, Logos Hope men responded in style, holding the ship’s first ever Men’s Breakfast. Featuring a full fry-up meal, armour decorations, African drums and the Hakka dance there was no doubt that the ship’s dining room had been transformed into a man’s world for the occasion!

The aim of the morning was to motivate men to come together, have fellowship and focus on God. With almost 100 local attendees, the help of crewmembers to host and interact with those present was much appreciated. Visiting Doulos Captain Ashley McDonald (Australia) challenged the men to depend on God rather than trust in their own strength.

“For many men it was a message which influenced their hearts intensely,” reported Manfred. Koepnik, the Logos Hope Kiel Committee chairman. It is hoped that this event will encourage men to continue to meet together, even after Logos Hope has left Kiel.
