Mariana's Call to MissionsOM InternationalEnglish/Espanol
OM in Central America is focused on sending Latin Americans into missions. Mariana is just one who heard God’s call and is now serving through OM. When she was six Mariana was abandoned by her parents and raised by her grandmother in El Salvador. Even as a young girl she felt rejected and often cried out to God for help. When she was 24, Mariana met a woman who told her about Jesus. Ten months later she accepted Christ. She shared the Gospel with her grandmother, and six days later her grandmother died, a believer in Christ. It was the day her grandmother accepted Christ that Mariana heard God calling her to missions. She got involved with OM outreaches all over Central America and discovered her gifts in evangelism. She then joined Panama’s International School of Missions and graduated in March 2008. Mariana, 31, is willing to do whatever the Lord calls her to do. “My life is for the Lord and I want to serve Him until the last day,” she says. “I am happy to work anywhere I can help.” Please pray that the Lord calls more Latin Americas to serve with OM around the world.
EL LLAMADO DE MARIANA A LAS MISIONES OM en Centroamérica se enfoca en enviar latinos a las misiones. Mariana escuchó el llamado de Dios y ahora está sirviendo a través de OM. Cuando Mariana tenía seis años fue abandonada por sus padres y la crió su abuela en El Salvador. Siendo aun pequeña sentía el rechazo y a menudo clamaba a Dios por ayuda. Cuando tuvo 24 años, conoció a una mujer que le habló de Jesús. Diez meses después ella acepto a Cristo. Luego compartió el evangelio con su abuela, ella creyó en Cristo y seis días después murió. El mismo día que su abuela aceptó al Señor, Mariana escuchó el llamado de Dios a las misiones. Se involucró en programas de OM en toda América Central y descubrió su don de evangelista. Entonces comenzó a estudiar en la Escuela Internacional de Misiones de Panamá y se graduó en Marzo del 2008. Ahora Mariana, que tiene 31 años está dispuesta a ir dondequiera que el Señor la llame. “Mi vida es para el Señor y quiero servirle hasta mi último día”, dijo y agregó: “Estoy feliz de trabajar dondequiera que sea útil.” Por favor ora para que el Señor llame más latinos a servir con OM alrededor del mundo.
