Surprises in store

Nicky Hayes

Matias and Su (OM Lushnje) arrived at the evangelistic service with their American friends from “Convoy of Hope”, not sure what to expect. Pastor Sokol had already organised everything himself, and church members had invited their non-Christian friends and neighbours – mentioning too that there would be a barbecue afterwards and a free bag of food for everyone who came.

Su describes how fifty people tried to cram into a church building big enough for twenty – a problem solved by moving the service outside. Whether or not the 30 guests were hungry for God or for food bags and barbecues, only time will tell...but  that day they saw for themselves how God can heal!  As believers prayed, a woman known to be partially deaf had her hearing fully restored, and a 10 year-old boy with a severe speech impediment was speaking some words clearly for the very first time.

Please pray that the guests will reflect on the miracles they have witnessed and that the Holy Spirit will lead them to experience true spiritual hunger, which can be satisfied only by God Himself!
