First Hungarian Leader Appointed

OM International

Sunday May 13 was a day to remember in OM Hungary's history as the team commissioned the first Hungarian Field Leader. Rodney DeRonde handed over the leadership of the ministry to Attila Kapocs during a special service attended by local church leaders, board members and OM leaders.

"It was a memorable service commissioning Attilas as the first national director of OM Hungary," shared Rodney deRonde.  "Or course we also experienced sadness as we officially said goodbye to a period in our lives that has been very rich and meaningful to us. God has been very good in givine us the priviledge to share life with the Hungarian people.  They will always be incredibly dear to us."

Rodney first came to Hungary almost 17 years ago!  Along with his wife Kitty and their two boys, Rodney is now moving to the US.  Please praise God for a smooth leadership transition and pray for Attila, his wife and three children at this exciting time.
