OM Zimbabwe is helping to develop an indigenous African model for missions through mentoring and partnering with the local church. A large part of this is training Zimbabweans in ministry, equipping them to serve, be it in Zimbabwe, other parts of Africa or internationally.

OM Zimbabwe offers opportunities to be involved with the Tonga people. They are the least reached group in Zimbabwe and your involvement can impact them for eternity. You will learn about the people, live among them and share the love of God - you will be changed!

There is also a great need for technical and professional people to work with the team in Harare. This might be as a bookkeeper, receptionist, or in another vital role.

Inflation in Zimbabwe

For OM workers living in Zimbabwe, the reality of massive inflation is a daily challenge. They write, "The country continues for a head on collision with disaster. For a long time we have been saying it can't go on - but it has. Bread now costs three times the largest denomination of paper money that we have. Inflation has raced past 1000% and is still accelerating."
