Internal Communications Director – Global Brand Management Team

Are you an effective communicator? Do you have managing and strategic planning skills that you want to use serving God? We want all our people to feel part of the bigger picture of what God is doing among the least reached through our organization. We need someone to manage those communications – someone who can help a small team maintain a ‘bird’s eye view’ of all internal and leadership communications. Could that be you?



•Advise the global leadership group on specific ways to communicate effectively with a variety of internal audiences

•Manage a small team of creatives

•Project manage reports and presentations for the Global Leadership Team (GLT)

•Strategize overarching messages to be presented in innovative ways at the annual International Leadership Meetings

•Assist the GLT in producing a quarterly report for the Global Board

•Develop and manage an internal communications strategy aligned with strategic initiatives

•Ensure compelling content is communicated effectively to tell the story of what God is doing in and through OM, to other OMers around the globe

•Oversee the production, implementation and training of a NEW OM News and Prayer app designed to share field and ministry updates with the wider organization

•Assist the wider Global Brand Management (GBM) team in communicating available marketing tools to fields and ministries

•Develop and manage an editorial calendar

•Be on-call for crisis management team needs

Job Requirements: Degree in communications and/or 2-3 years of experience building strategy and managing communications inside a global environment.

Skills and Experience desired:

•Able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and easy way

•Able to relate with and communicate on behalf of senior ministry leaders

•Experience measuring communication effectiveness

•Experience aligning internal messaging to brand guides

•Experience managing the work of a creative team
