Kara's OM journey began in 2015 when she went on an OM short-term outreach and encountered God in a new way through healing from anxiety and a calling to serve in long-term missions.  She served with OM UK for 3.5 years as the personal assistant to the director of OM UK but in 2019 felt the call to return to Canada to serve with the OM Canada team. As People Services Director, Kara helps to oversee Canadians serving within Canada and abroad to provide support and care for them as needed. She is also involved with our teen discipleship ministry called TeenStreet and is excited to see how God will raise up the next generation of missionaries. Kara is married to Josh and they currently live in Peterborough, ON.
