Immersion is OM in Ireland's training program designed to inspire young people to put their faith into action and be used by God for His mission of redemption.
The immersion training programme is designed to immerse you in God’s Word, in ministry and in cross-cultural missions, in order to challenge you in ways you could never imagine, and drive you to depend on God more and more each day.
The programme consists of approximately 25% teaching/training in a classroom environment, and 75% field ministry experience. This field experience will primarily be focused on partnering with a local church to assist them in helping their church grow through internal ministry to its members, as well as external ministry to reach their local community.
A mentor will spend time each week with the student. Mentors will monitor the needs of each student, and students will be accountable to their mentors. These mentors will help participants adapt to the culture, minister effectively, and experience spiritual growth.

Immersion students live in shared accommodations at Lacken House, OM in Ireland's headquarters. It's in the middle of beautiful Irish country side! During their church placement you might live in a shared apartment or in host homes.
Immersion students will share their meals and cater for themselves as a team.
Immersion students will be collected from the airport, and during their stay with us transport will be provided. Participants will not have opportunity to drive themselves.
Immersion students need to be in good health
Participants from outside the EU need a visa. The application process takes about 5 months (getting paperwork together + waiting for the results)
