Internships in Ireland

OM is mobilising young Jesus followers to join our international team and serve and experience ministry in Ireland. We are open to have interns come from 2 weeks to 6 months, or even up to a year! Dates are flexible, although there might be more opportunities to help in other ministries during the spring/summer.

Reaching Galicia/Spain

Based in the city of A Coruña on the North West coast of Spain, you will be helping at English conversation clubs or classes and any workshops we might have during your time here. You will be attending a local Baptist church in Spanish and an international church plant in English. You will be involved with the church youth group and any other events the church might have during your time here.

This opportunity involves travelling to different areas of Albania to photograph the different ministries run by OM Albania as well as the beautiful country itself.

CMO - Customised Ministry Opportunities (London)

This option is customisable; including the dates and ministry! It is a flexible option designed for people who want to get a taste of mission in a more individualised way.

Bus4Life Driver

Bus4Life serves as a ministry platform to reach the least reached communities in Eastern Europe. It’s a mobile ministry centre, outdoor cinema, health check-up clinic, bookshop, community centre, and meeting space. As the driver, your responsibility is to operate the vehicle and to drive it to outreach locations in Central and Eastern Europe.

OM Ships Florence STEP

During this 2-3 month program participants will:

• Serve in our Ministry Center sorting & packing books. Other service opportunities are available on an individual basis depending on the person’s expertise.
• Participate in the OM Ships Florence team life and interact with our international OM missionary staff
• Experience the American culture and have the opportunity to visit one or two nearby cities (Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Charlotte)
• The missions and mobilization awareness weekly class provide provides fundamental knowledge that will help the participant to better understand missions and to engage better with different cultures.
• Improve their English (if appropriate)
• Visit local churches and/or participate in a local church

OM in Poland is providing psychosocial support and psychological first aid after trauma experience, supporting mums and children fleeing Ukraine. Running kids clubs, youth ministry and women’s meetings we are offering comfort, bringing joy and hope and living out Christ’s love to those who need it the most.

DOULOS HOPE Short Term Programme 8 March - 7 May 2023

Doulos Hope will be launched into ministry at the end of April 2023. For this we need to see people starting to join Doulos Hope from February 2023 onwards. People with a posture and attitude to do anything, anytime, anywhere. We expect that the first months up to a year will very much be a journey of discovery as the life and culture on board, the ministry and how that is shaped but also the manning on board will evolve. It will very much be an emergent process which you can be part of, as in collaboration we help shape and influence the way forward.

St Patrick's Challenge 2023

We want to use the context of St Patrick to remind the people in Ireland of the message that St Patrick brought to the country long ago and its relevance today. There will be an emphasis on personal evangelism and church partnership during this outreach.

Ride2Transform Israel

By being passionate about sharing your faith, you will be creating contacts and relationships that give you the opportunity for ministering to their needs and also you will give the opportunity for our local team to follow up with those contacts. This ministry will also provide you with experiences and tools for your own future personal ministry in your home country.

Luke 24 Journey (Mar-Apr 2023)

The Luke 24 Journey will start with teaching and input through a biblical and chronological teaching that focusses on Jesus through the Old and New Testament. (Luke 24:27). Then we will also discover together our Identity and Destiny in Christ. (Luke 24:31-35) It is also part of the journey that we will equip participants in order to hear the voice of God and minister to others. Thereafter there will be an outreach to apply what has been learned. (Luke 24:47-49)

OM Ships Florence STEP (APRIL)

During this 2-3 month program participants will:

• Participate in a half day of missions and cultural exposure training each week.
• Participate in the OM Ships Florence team life and interact with our international OM missionary staff
• Experience the American culture and have the opportunity to visit one or two nearby cities (Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Charlotte)

• Visit local churches and/or participate in a local church

J'aime Arpajon

We will be spending the week helping the members of these church to build relationships with their local community and host various events aimed at sharing the gospel with those around them.

We will also be helping serve the Arpajon church (just outside of Paris) as they step out and begin the early stages of preparing to plant a church in a neighbouring town by doing prayer walks, street evangelism and other activities that will help the church become more visible in this new area.

Reaching Our Turkish Neighbours (London)

London is the largest city in Western Europe and one of the most multicultural cities in the world. There are people from almost every language and every tongue gathered in one place, which makes the city a great place for evangelism.
As we go out to share the gospel, we will meet people from different religious and non-religious backgrounds. It is a great opportunity to learn how to share the Gospel with different religious backgrounds.
You will partner with the Turkish church, and have opportunity to connect with believers, working alongside them in their outreach.

Based in the beautiful township of Mamelodi AIDS Hope wants to bring the hope of Jesus into many destitute situations, poverty and broken families.

Love Montélimar

We will start with two days of spiritual retreat so that we are refreshed and better ready to serve Jesus and the church. During the following week we will aide the members of the church as they build and strengthen relationships with their local community, and help organise several different events, all with the aim of sharing the good news of the gospel with those around them!

Kids 'n' Things Academy Spring

The holiday clubs you will help run can be useful to bring in children from the community who do not usually attend church. Our aim is to channel these children into the ongoing children’s work of the church. Although some children may become Christians during the holiday club it is often during the ongoing contact with Christians that children make a commitment. It's suitable for all primary school age children (4-11). Some churches run a family service at the end of the week, which the children and their families are invited to.
