Partnership Overview

Assistant at a freedom business that helps victims of trafficking with employment and life-skills training.

Required Skills

Work with one of our partner projects reaching out to help survivors of abuse and trafficking in their recovery and rebuilding process.

We are looking for someone who would work at a bookshop alongside ladies who have exited trafficking and prostitution. During their shifts, they would do all of the basic day-to-day (organising the books, handling new donations, running the checkout) while also simply "doing life" with the ladies. They would also help with the different life-skills training and bible studies. They may also be asked to take on a role at our home office in order to support the wider work of OM in Greece.

Experience is not necessary and we are happy to train. However, people with experience in counselling, trauma care, business, childcare, or mentoring would be preferred.

Learning Greek will be a requirement of the job as most of the customers are Greek. *This opportunity is for women only*.

* The jobs listed on this website do not have a set salary. This means that the person who applies will need to raise their own support, which is money that they will use to live on. The amount of support money they need to raise will depend on things like where they are from, if they have a family, and what country they will be working in. There might be some jobs that pay salary, but these are rare and would need to be negotiated with the sending offices and the teams you'd like to serve with. If you have any questions about this, please contact your local home office. Always keep in mind that our ministry depends on generous giving from our partners around the globe and God's ongoing provision. Joining OM is always seen as a step of faith and trust in a God who will provide for our needs through his chosen people.
