Frequently Asked Questions

Accommodation

During the training period, students will share rooms in our guesthouse or chalets on our property in Roscommon. During their ministry assignments in a church the accommodation will vary from team to team, from flats with teammates to rooms in a host home.

Food

Students will cook and eat together, and will be responsible for their own food. They will receive a monthly stipend to cover the costs of this.

Travel

Transportation to and from the airport will be provided, as well as any other necessary during their time in Ireland. Students will not be able to drive while they are in Ireland.

Health

Students need to be in reasonable health.

Visa

Students from outside of Europe need to apply for a volunteer visa. This process takes significant time (about 4 months) and some costs, so keep this in mind when applying.
