Like every other summer, about 3000 participants including 250 French went to Offenburg in Germany to participate in this camp for young Europeans from 13 to 17 years old.
Gwenaëlle, teenager :
TeenStreet has an atmosphere like nowhere else. It’s a moment in the year to pause, to focus on the Lord, and to live His love in community. With all the activities, games, praise and moments of sharing, we don’t get bored!
Raphael, teenager :
I loved it so much again this year, especially making new foreign friends, that I plan to come back one day as a coach or on the service team.
Benjamin, teenager :
This is my fourth year at Teenstreet. It really opened my eyes to the fact that God was calling me to be his child. I knew he was transforming the hearts of others, but I suddenly realised that he could also renew me if I chose Jesus as Lord and Savior. It was after Teenstreet 2017 that I decided to be baptized.
Mirlande, girls coach :
I was the coach for a group of five 14-year-old girls that I didn’t know.
From the first few days I understood why I had this group and it was clear that God did nothing at random and is in control of everything. We had good, deep discussions with honest and open debates. Each of the girls showed genuine interest and an obvious love for God and his Word.
I was very touched when two of them started thinking about baptism. Today, I keep in touch with them and I pray that they will continue to progress even after this conference and that they, in turn, will be sources of inspiration for others.
It was a remarkable experience: traveling to another country, meeting Christians from different places in an English-speaking environment. Exactly what I needed! I ran the small grocery store, it was very friendly. I was touched when two Austrians came to help me during their break when it was getting very busy.
What’s on? Small groups, worship evenings, workshops, outreach in the town, bible teaching… And many special moments together!
