Literacy classes with immigrant women

Our Literacy classes provide an opportunity to share His love and light with women from different unreached people groups, primarily from North Africa and Bangladesh.

Classes were going well until March 2020, when we had to close our classes due to the confinement. Unfortunately, we were unable to continue classes online, due to their general lack of access to or proficiency in computers. However, personal contact with some of the women continued throughout the summer through phone calls and personal visits, as permitted.

We are very blessed to have such a great church partnering with and serving with us! Due to His grace and the encouragement of the church, we were able to restart our classes in early October, albeit with COVID-appropriate restrictions. We can teach only a few women at this time, so we prayed that the Lord would lead us to the right women to invite to class and that He open their hearts. It’s been a joy being in class with them again! In addition, we are now able to dedicate a day to proactively and systematically disciple one of our students who is now our sister (praise!). We hope to include others to this training as well. Praise!
