Partnership Overview

About 50% of the population in Africa is under the age of 15.  If we want to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers, we will need to include children in our strategy. As children's ministry team of Africa Area, we help fields to align with the vision while including children. We also equip and resource the ministries so that they can do their ministry more effectively.

Required Skills

Primary responsibilities: Coordinating and facilitating training for children's ministry workers (online and face to face) Evaluating training and write training reports Strategize, develop and write training for children's workers in line with OM's vision Promote training opportunities Network for further training opportunities for children's ministry inside and outside of OM

As a children's ministry team member you can also get involved in networking with other organisations, finding or developing resources for children's ministry, mentoring children's ministry leaders, and visiting the fields.

Requirements: Completed discipleship programme in OM (e.g. MDT) or a willingness to do this At least two years of experience in children's ministry Fluent in English Computer skills Experience in training adults is preferred but not required.
