I'Ching Chan-Thomas

Born in Malaysia, I'Ching earned her B.A. in communications from Universiti Sains Malaysia and worked many years in the corporate world before joining OM in 1999, serving in the Middle East. In 2004, she received an M.A. in apologetics from Biola University in the U.S., and she's an experienced apologetics speaker, with a specialisation in the relevancy of Christianity in the Eastern cultural context. Since rejoining OM in 2015, she's headed up OM's global leadership development and was invited to join the Lausanne Movement as the co-regional director of Southeast Asia. Now based in Singapore, she continues to travel internationally to speak on apologetics issues. Her book, Jesus: The Path to Human Flourishing (Graceworks, 2018), explores the commonalities between the gospel and Confucius’ ideal of human flourishing.  I'Ching Chan-Thomas oversees the resourcing division of OM. I'Ching is married to Brian, from the U.S., and they have a teenage son.
