Twice a year this ten-week course offers Moldovan believers a practical introduction to missions. Study weeks alternate with two-week outreaches where participants can immediately put into practice what they have learnt. They receive Bible teaching as well as training in practical skills for sharing the gospel, learn about global realities and needs and participate in prayer for the world. The outreaches take them to villages all over Moldova where they do children’s programs, street evangelism or home visits to the sick and poor; working together with local churches to share God’s love and truth in word and action.

As well as reaching people all over Moldova with the gospel, the participants grow in their faith and relationship with God, develop their practical skills and get a deeper understanding of and vision for the world. As they return to their own villages they are equipped to become actively involved with their local churches in reaching out to their communities. Some of the participants are invited to come back for the second level of this training.

For some this program is the first step to getting involved in missions full-time and as a result we have been able to send Moldovans to different parts of the world. Also most of the national workers on our team have initially completed the “Challenge into Missions” training before joining OM.

How can I join?

Please note that from 2017 the “Challenge into Missions” program is only available for Moldovan nationals.

If you are interested in an in-depth missions training and exposure in Moldova, please consider our Missions Discipleship Training which starts in January 2017.
