Partnership Overview

As a social media specialist with OM, you would be responsible for overseeing OM's social media strategy across platforms pertaining to the ministry. The position involves developing new and fresh content that encourages audience engagement and expansion, while ensuring that OM's social broadcasting communicates a streamlined message that coincides with OM's international branding. Social media specialists also provide consultation to OM workers and participate in launching, monitoring and engaging in the online conversation regarding OM events and marketing campaigns. Additionally, participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.

Required Skills

Are you a detail oriented, self-starter with experience in graphic design and social media?  Use your skills and abilities to design and engage people through your work to our vision. Requirements:

  • Passionate about using his/her graphic and communication skills to see VCJF.
  • Previous ministry experience and proven understanding about missions.
  • Flexible and team player

Technical competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop,
  • Able to use appropriate software used in OM for communication and people support
  • Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style
  • Able to communicate the impact of transformed lives with various stakeholder communities through email, whats app and social media.
  • Able to build and maintain strong and personal relationships
