As a social media specialist with OM, you would be responsible for overseeing OM's social media strategy across platforms pertaining to the ministry. The position involves developing new and fresh content that encourages audience engagement and expansion, while ensuring that OM's social broadcasting communicates a streamlined message that coincides with OM's international branding. Social media specialists also provide consultation to OM workers and participate in launching, monitoring and engaging in the online conversation regarding OM events and marketing campaigns. Additionally, participation in local ministry and team life may also be aspects of your role.

    Requirements

    Your tasks:

    • Generate, edit and publish engaging content (e.g. photos, videos, latest news).
    • Strategic design and development of an overall design concept of the social media channels
    • Communicating with followers and responding to messages and comments in a timely manner
    • Researching and responding to current trends within our target groups

    your profile:

    • Experience in the creation of social media content
    • Flexible and independent working style
    • Ability to produce creative content for target groups in an appealing and contemporary way (texts, images and videos)
    • Experience in using image and video editing programmes (preferably Adobe Cloud)
    • Very good knowledge of the online behaviour of teenagers and young adults
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Fluency in German and basic English

    Desirable qualifications:

    • Proven professional experience or private experience in social media management.
    • Completed studies or training in online media management, marketing or a similar field
    • Own operational experience
