We are looking for someone to manage the web-based Afghan Media Center (AMC) (Afghan Media Centre). The AMC is a partnership project from various producers of materials. Pamir Ministries is part of that. Storage places of materials are in Canada and the Netherlands.
Required Skills
With more Afghans coming to North America and Europe, churches and ministries are requesting Christian materials in Afghan languages (print and some audio/video resources in Dari and Pashto). We need a person with a vision and passion for distribution. Her/she should have managerial and administrative skills to promote and coordinate distribution of Scriptures and Christian materials available on our media center. It would be helpful for the person to have an understanding of Afghan society (language and culture) and become familiar with appropriate evangelistic and discipleship resources for the Afghan audience. The person should be a networker and be able to communicate with churches and ministries around the world. Searching for (digital) distribution options into the region belongs to this function. In this way this position overlaps with (new) media productions, App production and promotion, social media ministry and website development. This position could develop further to coordinate publications of reprints as well as new materials.
