Dear Brother and Sisters,
I remember the agony of feelings in me before I began my missions journey, I would often ask myself these questions in doubt. “Does my story count for something? Can it be meaningful to someone else? Am I passionate enough for Jesus? Do I have the right skills and knowledge to do mission work?”
My drive to take the step to a mission trip was from a guilty conscience rather than a forgiven follower of Jesus wanting to share the message of hope. It was about my insecurities and impossibilities rather than the wondrous possibilities of the work of the Cross. Just Like many Christians I looked at my story as insignificant and ordinary.
What does God say about my story?
“I formed you in your mother’s womb”. He made me. “I know the plans I have you”. He has amazing plans for me. “The steps of a righteous man are lead by the Lord”. He guides me. “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you”. He backs me up. “Do not worry about what to say”. He gives me the words. “Greater things than these he shall do”. With him I will see big things. “In this world, you will have trouble but I have overcome the world”. He has overcome.
When I began to ponder about my life and who am I in Christ. I was filled with passion and compassion for the lost and hopeless. I was reminded that Jesus in me wants to use me to set the captives free.
My story and walk with Jesus gives me hunger for missions. I believe that Europe and the Mediterranean need hope through our testimonies. God want to use your stories.
Therefore, I urge you to come as you are. Your story is enough and who you are is enough to share Jesus in Europe and the Mediterranean.
Join us and many other passionate people from different nationalities to spread this amazing Gospel in The Mediterranean and Beyond!
