The working in Africa is expanding at a rapid rate. In order to keep up with the growth, we are looking for someone to assist Area Personnel Officer with the growing work in the Sahel region. This role will involve working with people from different cultures and background and being in the middle of what God is doing in Africa.
The Africa Area is looking for a person who can process all our recruiting, screening, and application forms for applicants interested in joining short and/or long-term opportunities with OM in the Sahel region.
Part of your responsibilities would include providing information via phone and email to the requests that come in and continue providing guidance until an applicant has found the right place within OM, considering the applicant's background, desires, abilities, expectations, etc.
The role also involves staying in contact with missionaries, sent out from our office, once they have reached their field of service.
if you are new to OM, we would ask that you go through some basic training courses here in Africa in order to get to know more about OM- especially about OM in Africa.
