To help and treat patients with physical problems caused by accident, illness, or aging and to be a light for the Kingdom of God as you do so.
As an Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist in a Central Asia context you will be expected to build relationships with patients and maintain communication with relatives and care-givers as well as other healthcare professionals in addition to that with the patient. You may even have the opportunity to start your own practice as this area of healthcare is, so far, undeveloped in the country.
We are looking for people with the following qualities – organized, friendly, self-motivated, tolerant, patient, compassionate, practical, level-headed, a team-player, and a good communicator. Training and certification in Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy is required. Gifting in Mercy, Helps, Service, Teaching, Administration, and/or Hospitality would be helpful but not necessary.
