Storyteller and Scriptwriter

Requirements

MediaWorks equips local ministries around the globe with relevant print and digital media that helps them share the gospel and strengthen believers in their communities.

Do you like telling stories? Do you enjoy writing? Do you have a passion for communicating the gospel through media?
We are looking for a Storyteller and Scriptwriter to strengthen our creative team. Use your skills to create appropriate media for the least reached in their heart languages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and research ideas for stories.
• Create an initial framework, or template, for media content.
• Write or adapt a story into a script.
• Work closely with the leaders, team members and local partners to edit and adjust the script as needed.

Requirements:

• Intimate relationship with Jesus
• Good command of English, knowledge of other languages would be helpful
• Good writing skills
• Creativity
• Experience in script writing for media content creation 
• Team player
• Experience with OM valuable but not necessary
• Understanding of and compliance with OM, its core values, structures, and statement of faith
• Remote work is possible.
