COVID-19 CRISIS RELIEF
Your donation will help keep missions and relief ministries going during this global pandemic.
The coronavirus has already taken thousands of lives and impacted every country in the world. As markets, coffee shops, churches and public squares shut down, people who have not yet experienced the hope and promise of the Gospel are isolated in their homes, without community or care, and often without a source of income.
Our team in Lesotho is helping the most vulnerable people in the community by distributing food packages to address their immediate needs, as well as by creating a sustainable self-help programme to help people earn an income and support themselves. Our team in Mamelodi has been distributing food parcels, but with winter approaching, the need for warm meals has increased. In Cape Town we have seen a rise in COVID-19 cases and the OM team is committed to joining hands with other organisations to continue with food and hygiene parcels distribution to prostitutes. We have also continued with our Missions Discipleship Training and want to see the students participate in community relief programmes in their surroundings.
Now more than ever, we must push forward with the light of Jesus, providing relief for the marginalized and reinforcements for our missions workers serving others. We can’t do this without you. Your gift will help OM share the love, hope and peace of Jesus with the people in Lesotho and South Africa.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Galatians 6:9 NIV
