The purpose of this outreach is to help the local churches in their ministries by reaching out to children, youth, and elderly in villages. Through this cross-cultural experience, you will have the amazing opportunity to grow in your faith and relationship with God.
You will be working as part of a cross-cultural team in partnership with local village churches. This outreach will involve organizing a day camp for children, visiting elderly people in their homes and possibly helping practically where needed.
Each day begins with personal and group devotions. In the morning you will lead childrens programs for those in the village (songs, Bible stories, memory verses, crafts, games etc). After a lunch break your team will be back on the road visiting 2-3 houses of those who are recognised as vulnerable by the local authorities (for example, elderly / single mum / disabled). Sit, chat and encourage them with scripture, testimonies and songs that the Lord puts on your heart and provide practical help through giving of a food packet and Bible. If there are additional needs in the area, you may be able to help re-establish a fence, clear rubbish, paint a door. The day could also consist of attending a youth group meeting or church prayer meeting. Resources are provided for but you are welcome to bring any extras/specifics that you also wish to use.

You will stay in Chisinau in OM accommodations upon arrival and before departure. During outreach, you will stay either with local families or in church buildings in the villages. Please note, it may not be possible for groups, families, or married couples to stay together within the different accommodations.
Good Moldovan food is provided. Sometimes you as a team will have to prepare your own meal. Please come ready to serve together alongside the team. Please advise us if you have any dietary restrictions or needs.
Participants must arrange their own travel to and from Chisinau, Moldova. The Airport Code for Chisinau is: KIV. Participants will be picked up by OM team members at the airport, train- or bus station.
Participants must be in good health and physically able to stand, bend, lift, walk and do other physical activities as needed.
Please only enter Moldova with a Passport, not an ID card. Citizens from the EU, USA, Canada, Switzerland and a CIS countries do not need a Visa. All others may need a Visa. If a Visa is needed and costs are involved, this is the participant's responsibility to pay the fees.
