Pray
• Many Indonesians practice folk Islam, a blend of Islam with tribal spirituality. Christianity is strong among previously animist peoples and the Chinese, who witness to the non-Christians around them. Many spiritual strongholds must be broken.
• Persecution has led to discriminatory laws and the destruction of churches. Christians of many traditions now draw together for prayer, worship, and mutual support that attracts many Muslims to Christ, despite the persecution. Pray that the Church continues to grow amidst intense opposition and persecution.
• Pray for revival. The rapid growth of Pentecostal and charismatic churches created a need for discipleship and training for both lay leaders and pastors.

• Indigenous mission workers are being trained to encourage local churches to adopt unreached people groups nearby and establish Discovery Bible Schools that can result in new churches. They also offer children basic education, English, and math as well as counselling. Providing these resources for unreached people on literally thousands of islands is a deep financial investment.
