Partnership Overview
We are looking for someone to manage the Communications for our Field - 20 countries across the Caribbean - with OM staff and volunteers based in a number of them. We are looking for someone with a love for capturing's people's attention and engaging them, and helping colleagues to do likewise.
Required Skills
a. Job requirements:
- Excellent verbal, writing and editing skills in English
- Able to create content for our field for newsletters, brochures, posters, flyers, website, social media, etc.
- Highly organized, attentive to detail and deadlines-focused
- A team player with good inter-personal skills
- Able to manage a number of projects simultaneously
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Be motivated and able to motivate others for mission
- Able to thrive as part of an international team based in the Caribbean, North America and the UK
- Comfortable following OM's corporate identity and style guide, drawing on OM's international campaigns as appropriate
b. Technical competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Proficient* in the use of software currently used by OM for communications, including MailChimp, Canva, InDesign, Publisher, …….
- Basic understanding of web design and on-line form editing
- Familiar with the various opportunities that social media and video offer for effective communication with different demographics
* Training will be provided as appropriate
