Journey Overview
London is the largest city in Western Europe and one of the most multicultural cities in the world. There are people from almost every language and every tongue gathered in one place, which makes the city a great place for evangelism.
As we go out to share the gospel we will meet people from different religious and non-religious backgrounds. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to share the Gospel in such a diverse, multi-faith context.
You will partner with a local church and do evangelism in a variety of situations where you will meet Muslims from many backgrounds. Do you have a desire to share the Gospel with your Muslim friends, but you just don't know what to say? Do you want to build your confidence and learn from others? Here is an opportunity for you to join one of our short-term outreaches, where you will learn how to start conversations about Jesus, how to build relationships and how to share your faith cross-culturally with Muslims.
Arrival time is before 13:00 on 20th July 2024. Departure time is 11am on 29th July 2024. We can arrange for early arrivals or late departures by providing one extra night of accommodation if needed at £22.00 per night. Please note: Cost indicated is for conference and outreach only. Unless otherwise indicated, it includes accommodation, meals, local travel. However, visa costs and travel to and from the event are extra. A €30 non-refundable application fee is included. Cost will be finalised upon application due to fluctuations in currency exchange.
What To Expect
- You will have training classes in various aspects of sharing your faith, with an emphasis on the ‘Muslim world’
- You will be involved in street evangelism and distributing literature as you meet and talk with people
- You will be involved in park evangelism
- There are possibilities to use art, drama, music, singing etc.
- We will have lots of fun
Participant Profile
Age Range: 18-99
We would love to see you use any gifts that you might have, if you have a specific gift such as music, art, sports please let us know when you apply. That will help us to know how to encourage and equip you to use your gifts. You must be able to hold a simple conversation in English. Previous experience in ministry is not required as orientation and training will be given.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be accommodation provided?
You will be part of a team from many different countries. You will be staying at our training centre in Northwest London and you may need to sleep on the floor. Bedding, towels, and mattress will be provided.
Married couples are welcome but may be required to sleep separately.
Will there be food provided?
Food will be provided at the training centre and you will have the opportunity to help with the international cooking. We need to know in advance of any special dietary needs (vegetarian, dairy-free, food allergies, gluten free, etc.)
Do I need to make my own travel arrangements?
The nearest airport is Heathrow Airport (LHR). It is also possible to fly into any of the London airports and then take a bus or train from those airports to London.

What should my health condition be like?
You should be in average good health and able to walk a reasonable distance without difficulty. If you think this requirement rules you out, talk to us and we will see what adjustments we may be able to make for you. You are responsible to obtain appropriate emergency health and medical insurance.
