Catalytic Ministries

Children & Families

We reach children and their families in least-reached areas and show new communities of believers how to welcome children like Jesus did.

There are an estimated 3 billion people who still do not know God’s love, so we will continue to mobilise Jesus followers to go to places with few or no churches. In many of these places, we see that children form 30-50% of the population.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

Opportunities

Explore these opportunities to impact children and families with one of our teams around the world.

Building relationships

equipping workers

Catalytic teams equip believers to build relationship with children and their families in communities so that they can share the love of Jesus with them. They learn how to disciple children and families and teach them how to be disciplemakers that share God’s love with others around them.

Joining the mission

God wants all people to be saved and wants us to join him in the mission to reach the nations. Catalytic teams mobilise children and families to join this mission. Children and families will learn more about people groups in the world through prayer events and prayer devotionals who have not experienced or heard about God’s love. Through this, they will learn about opportunities they have to reach those who have not heard.

Support and resourcing

Catalytic Ministries has created a network of children’s workers. In this network resources and experiences are shared. It’s a platform where people find support and inspiration to find ways to reach communities that have little engagement with the gospel.

“Children need a ‘meaningful relational environment’ with spiritual role models, that live out a relationship with Jesus in their daily walk and can invite and guide the children to walk along with them.”
