Caribbean Finance Director

The OM Caribbean Field is made up of about 30 countries. Our main focus is mobilizing Caribbean believers to go as missionaries all over the world. As part of the ‘Global South', much of our ministry is helping the church across the Caribbean understand that it has the privilege of sending missionaries and then encouraging them to sow into this ministry. The Field comprises 5 legally registered entities and reporting in both local currencies and USD is required. The main finances include recording and allocation of donations given to support missionaries and projects in any of OM's 110+ fields of service and for operational needs. Donations are received in local bank accounts and online.     Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience of using accounting software and preparing financial statements.
• Good knowledge of MS Office 365, especially Excel and Sharepoint, and a willingness to learn OM's accounting software (currently Open Petra, but moving to Xledger in 2025). Experience of using a CRM would be helpful.
• Organizational skills with good attention to detail.
• Team leadership experience.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Strong communication skills, with good written and spoken English.
• Good inter-personal skills.
• Ability to handle information with due confidentiality.

Reporting to: Operations Director Location: Remote working from (almost!) anywhere in the world, or based in the Caribbean Number of hours: Full-time or part-time (at least 60-80 hours per month)
