Creativity, passion, engagement with children and endurance will be key features of your time in Portugal! Come support local OM ministry workers in reaching out to children during the kids program at an annual food festival.

Hope of Israel Winter 2023

You will be challenged to draw closer to God as you trust Him to show you how to share your faith with the various people groups that inhabit the Land of Israel. This includes Jewish people (the whole spectrum from secular to traditional to ultra-orthodox), Arabic-speaking peoples (both Muslims and nominal Christians), and others, among them visitors to Israel from all over the world. Emphasis is on team building and a variety of outreach activities as a group. You will work in conjunction with our OM Israel short and long-term staff.

Summit '23 - Hiking the Himalayan trails (5month)

When you join Summit for five or nine months, a significant part of your time is spend out of the city. Treks are varying in length from one to three weeks. You may go to the flat land, but most trips are into middle range mountains of 2500 metre, where most people live. While travelling in pairs through the villages, you will hand out books, share your life journey and sleep at local homes! You can pray for people and encourage and support our local workers. Time spend on trek will help you see, and hear the stories of the people in the villages and feel connected to them in your learning journey.

REACH Silkroad in Turkey 2023

The REACH in Turkey 5 month discipleship program is an awesome opportunity for participants to connect with least reached people groups, while they grow in their own faith and relationship with God and others.

REACH in Moldova and Romania (formerly MDT e³)

Do you hunger for more of God and desire to be used and grow in your giftings, for His glory? At REACH you will experience how God calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things as you step out in faith and grow in your relationship with the Lord and experience being His hands and feet to the nations. This specific REACH program is a partnership between Moldova and Romania with training time spent in both countries. All instruction will be taught in English.

Luke 24 Journey (Feb 2023)

The Luke 24 Journey will start with teaching and input through a biblical and chronological teaching that focusses on Jesus through the Old and New Testament. (Luke 24:27). Then we will also discover together our Identity and Destiny in Christ. (Luke 24:31-35) It is also part of the journey that we will equip participants in order to hear the voice of God and minister to others. Thereafter there will be an outreach to apply what has been learned. (Luke 24:47-49)

Immersion

The immersion training programme is designed to immerse you in God’s Word, in ministry and in cross-cultural missions, in order to challenge you in ways you could never imagine, and drive you to depend on God more and more each day.

REACH South Africa - Team 1

Phase 1 is a 4-month discipleship training program where you are exposed to and experience different cultures and ministries. A biblical foundation for discipleship provides a structure for spiritual growth and healing. An introduction to biblical and transformational missions and topical electives connect the Bible to different disciplines. S.H.A.P.E. lets you explore how God created you and your purpose in God’s Kingdom. Towards the middle of Phase 1, we will help you to develop a customised PPP (Personalised Preparation Plan), based on what you have discerned and discovered about your place in building VCJF’s among the least reached. Phase 2 is the implementation of their PPP which is then a continuation of your journey in practical and holistic missions.

During this 2-3 month program participants will:

Disaster Response Training

The Disaster Response Training aims to give you an overview of the Disaster Preparedness and Response sectors, to build some transferable skill-sets, and to equip you to be a boost to any relief situation that you are involved with in the future.

We will cover subjects such as:
Humanitarian Principles,
Working as a Team in Emergencies,
Humanitarian Logistics,
Emergency Needs Assessments,
Decision Making in Emergencies,
Security and Communications,
Personal Travel Medicine,
Working with the UN / NGOs / Host Governments / the Media in Disasters.
